After working for over 20 years in the art business (formerly President of ArtLicensing.com for over 10 years), Matt has built relationships with many art licensing industry connections (designers, art directors, buyers, etc.) at both manufacturers and major retailers, not to mention Matt has worked with thousands of artists!
Grateful Licensing Group (GLG) is focused on transforming artists into brands. We do this by procuring and negotiating contracts for licensing rights, to art licensing industry manufacturers globally. We do this through our art licensing service. Grateful Licensing also helps promote these programs through various marketing channels and techniques to ensure not only success for the artist, but also for the manufacturer! All of these are part of a successful art licensing program.
At Grateful Licensing Group we believe in the Symbiosis that exists between an artist and their agent and the “Licensee”. We aim to foster that relationship into a lucrative business adventure we are on together!
When Matt isn’t working at Grateful Licensing, he enjoys the outdoors in Southern, Vermont with his family – wife Jenni; and 3 boys, Marcus, Noah & Ethan, and two lab pups Ruby and Anka! Matt enjoys coaching soccer and lacrosse as well as snowboarding, and long talks on the phone about really great licensing deals!
